MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police are looking for a man who crashed into a deli Monday morning and then apparently fled the scene.
Authorities said the incident happened at about midnight at the Chicago Avenue Deli, which is at the intersection of 25th Street and Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis. Authorities said a man driving a conversion van crashed into a parked car before smashing into the building. The driver then fled the scene, and police are still looking for the man.
Police said there were no injuries in the crash, but the building suffered damage as a result. Virtually the entire front of the deli was destroyed in the crash.
Authorities said the crash is still under investigation.
