HASTINGS, Minn. (WCCO) –- Authorities say they are increasingly worried about a missing woman who hasn’t been heard from in more than a month now.
Authorities said Nikole Renee Sherry, 24, hasn’t been seen or heard from since she left Regions Hospital on foot on Dec. 17, 2012. Police said it’s unusual for her to remain out of contact with her family for an extended period of time.
To assist in the search, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension released new photos that give a more current representation of her appearance.
Sherry was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, powder blue pajama pants and shoots. Her belongings, money and ID were left behind and she might need medical attention. She’s about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and about 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Sherry has a tattoo of the name “Lamika” with a crown above it on her right arm.
Anyone with information on where she might be is asked to call the Hastings Police Department through the Dakota County Dispatch Center at (651) 322-2323.
