MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota women’s basketball team dropped to 2-3 in the Big 10 Conference after an 84-63 loss to Nebraska on Sunday at Williams Arena.
Rachel Banham scored 15 points to lead the Gohpers, while Shayne Mullaney and Micaëlla Riché each added 10 points. Along with her 15 points, Banham added four assists, two rebounds and a steal, while Riché added eight rebounds and matched her season-high with three steals. Minnesota fell to 13-6 overall with the loss in front of a crowd of more than 6,300 fans.
The Gophers travel to No. 8-ranked Penn State Thursday night to continue Big 10 Conference play.
