MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It’s LA week at the Target Center.

The Clippers visited Wednesday night, and the Lakers play Friday night.

There are a number of issues that need addressing on the Timberwolves these days.

JJ Barea suggested they needed to be tougher, and they may have found a man for the job.

Every team needs someone that will get a little bit physical. That’s the job for the Steemer. Greg Stiemsma got physical against the Clippers.

“With this group, for me to kind-of be an enforcer-type, I guess I’ll take it,” Stiemsma said.

It’s not quite the same as the NHL’s enforcer rules, but there is a similarity.

“Hockey is so crazy to me,” he said. “That they let them go, and it’s part of the game.”

And on every team, you need one.

“We need to be a bit tougher and be more like Steemer sometimes,” Barea said.
