BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) — Kalle Kossila and Drew LeBlanc had a goal and assist apiece as Western Collegiate Hockey Association leader St. Cloud State beat Bemidji State 4-1 on Saturday.
The Huskies (17-10-1, 14-5-1) maintained their conference lead while Bemidji State’s winless streak reached 10 games. That is the Beavers’ (5-16-5, 4-12-4) longest streak since 2002.
The game was tied 1-1 after one period, but St. Cloud State took control on goals by Jonny Brodzinski and David Morley in the second.
Brady Wacker had Bemidji State’s only goal.
Ryan Faragher had 21 saves for the 12th-ranked Huskies, who are 9-3-1 in their last 13 games.
