ROSEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) -- A dead dog and a malnourished canine were discovered – in addition to illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a large sum of cash during a search warrant the Roseville Police and East Metro SWAT executed at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

The home's renters – a 19-year-old female and a 22-year-old male – and a 23-year-old St. Paul male guest were arrested at 3007 Arona Street, police say.

Along with possible narcotic charges, the renters could also be charged with animal neglect, as detectives report finding the carcass of a miniature Doberman and a malnourished Doberman in the basement.
