MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Bemidji State goalie Mathieu Dugas made three of his 38 saves in overtime as the Beavers earned a 2-2 tie with Wisconsin on Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Danny Mattson’s goal at 6:08 to play knotted the game at 2-2. It was the only goal of the third period.
The Badgers (11-9-7, 8-6-7) led twice in the game on goals by Nic Kerdiles in the first and Sean Little in the second.
Bemidji State (5-16-6, 4-12-5) tied it for the first time on Phil Brewer’s goal.
Dugas had 16 stops in the third period but the Beavers winless streak stretched to 11 games.
Joel Rumpel had 25 saves for the Badgers.
