MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Timberwolves raised more than $350,000 at the 18th annual Taste of the Timberwolves fundraising event.
Players, coaches and team officials gathered at Target Center on Thursday night to help raise money for the team’s FastBreak Foundation. The foundation supports programs that benefit young people in Minnesota.
Attendees were served food by players and team staff from some of the most well-known restaurants in the Twin Cities. There was also a live auction and a game show featuring Timberwolves players.
Over the past 18 years, the Timberwolves have raised more than $4 million for their foundation.
