MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a man was randomly shot in downtown Minneapolis Monday morning.
Authorities say the incident happened sometime after 2:30 a.m. near the area of 4th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues in downtown Minneapolis. Police said a man was shot while walking on the sidewalk near Pizza Luce Restaurant.
Authorities said the man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said they don’t know who fired the shot or where it came from, there are no suspects in custody and the incident is under investigation.
