MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Bloomington are investigating after a series of thefts involving brass fittings happening throughout the seven-county metro area struck the city.
Authorities say the thefts have been happening in parking ramps and businesses in Bloomington. The fittings cover the pipes that are used by firefighters to get water in an emergency.
Several police agencies are investigating the thefts and putting together a list of suspects. Authorities said more information will be released when it becomes available. Anyone with information on the latest incident is asked to call Bloomington Police.
