MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Get your dad jeans out. REO Speedwagon, Styx and Ted Nugent announced that their “Midwest Rock ‘N Roll Express” tour will be stopping in Minneapolis.
The rockers are set to play at Target Center on Friday, April 19. REO Speedwagon will be the event’s closing act.
Tickets will be available at the Target Center’s website, and at prices ranging from $25 up to $125.
REO Speedwagon are best known for their hits “Can’t Fight This Feeling” and “Keep On Loving You.” Their current lineup includes Neal Doughty, Kevin Cronin, Bruce Hall, Dave Amato, and Bryan Hitt.
Prog-rockers Styx are most famous for their hits “Come Sail Away” and “Mr. Roboto.”
Nugent’s hits include “Cat Scratch Fever” and “Wango Tango,” though in recent years he has become associated more strongly with his political statements on behalf of the Republican Party and gun ownership rights.
