Highways Reopen In Western Minnesota After Storm

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- State transportation officials are opening western Minnesota highways that were closed due to the snowstorm.

Highway 10 between Moorhead and Audubon reopened Monday, as well as Highway 210 between Fergus Falls and Breckenridge. Interstate 94 between Alexandria and Moorhead reopened at 2 p.m. Monday.

While the no travel advisory in west-central Minnesota has been lifted, MnDOT says driving conditions are difficult because of blowing and drifting snow and icy patches.

The State Patrol handled 326 crashes since Sunday morning, including 42 that involved injuries.

The National Weather Service says Glenwood in Pope County got 12 inches of snow Sunday. Walker has about 11 inches and Hillman has 10 inches.
