The Postal Service Heads To Roy Wilkins This Summer

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Postal Service has announced a stop in St. Paul as part of its first tour in about a decade.

The St. Paul stop, along with a few others, were in response to the numerous shows already sold out and a number of second shows being added.

The tour will head to Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul on Friday, Aug. 2. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 9 (there is a four ticket limit).

The tour, which celebrates the band's 10th anniversary, will reunite Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello with Jenny Lewis, who appeared on the original album and played with the band on a 2003 tour.

Never before seen audition footage from 2002 has also surfaced on Funny or Die. Click here to watch.

Tickets to the show are $35 for reserved and $40 to general admission. Tickets will be available by calling 800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com.
