DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Austin Farley had a goal and three assists as Minnesota-Duluth beat Nebraska-Omaha 5-4 on Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Mike Seidel added two goals and an assist, while Joe Basaraba chipped in a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs (13-17-5, 9-13-5).
Nebraska-Omaha (18-15-2, 14-11-2) lead 3-1 before the Bulldogs reeled off four straight goals to go up 5-3. Seidel’s second power-play goal at 14:30 was the game-winner.
Nebraska-Omaha goaltenders John Faulkner and Ryan Massa combine for 23 saves.
Matt McNeely made 24 saves for Minnesota-Duluth, which took 28 shots on goal. McNeely allowed goals to Josh Archibald, Andrej Sustr and Zaun Raubenheimer in the first period, then to Johnnie Searfoss 1:01 into the third period.
Ryan Walter, the nation’s scoring leader, had an assist to run his scoring streak to seven straight game.
