MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A phone call from a Minnesota trucking company led police in gas masks to a grisly scene.

Investigators say they discovered three bodies inside a home in San Antonio, Texas, after an apparent double murder-suicide.

Staff at J&R Schugel Trucking in New Ulm, Minn., hadn’t heard from a truck-driving team in more than two weeks. They called police here who then called police in Texas.

When those officers went to check on the employees, they found a woman, her boyfriend, and son all dead.

Police think the 76-year-old boyfriend shot the mother and son before turning the gun on himself.
