MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver involved in a fatal hit and run incident early this morning.

Sgt. William Palmer says it happened in the area of 32nd Street East and Snelling Avenue South around 2:30 a.m.

The victim was a 42-year-old man, whose name has not been released.

He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died early Saturday morning.

Investigators have no vehicle or suspect descriptions and are asking anyone with information to call Minneapolis Police at 612-290-3676 or 612-290-5214.
