Weather Blog: Back To The 50s

Our average high for early April is 51 degrees, and that's why it has felt so cold the past few days.

With highs only in the 30s and a wind making it feel like the 20s, how nice would it be to just hit average? We will accomplish that Wednesday.

As high pressure slides off to our east, the wind will increase from the south. It will be breezy with winds blowing 10-15 mph, but that warm wind should push our highs into the low 50s.

The major meltdown will continue with highs close to average for the next few days. A cold front will come through basically dry on Thursday morning, and there won't be a batch of cold air behind it.

Our next shot at rain comes Saturday with some towns picking up .50 to an inch of rainfall.

The warmer weather has some restaurants eager to set up their patios.
