'Potential Threat' During Schaffhausen Trial On Friday Boosts Security

HUDSON, Wis. (WCCO) -- After an apparent potential threat on Friday during the Aaron Schaffhausen trial, Monday will see an increase in security, according to a statement from authorities.

According to the St. Croix County Sheriff, at 9:45 a.m. on April 5, deputies responded to a potential threat inside the St. Croix County Government Center/Courthouse, located at 1101 Carmichael Road in Hudson, Wis.

Authorities say the public should be aware that access to the Government Center will require a security screening.

The sheriff says it's an ongoing investigation.
