Update: Joseph Karnik was found at around 10:30 a.m. at the Crossroads Mall.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — St. Cloud Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a 23-year-old vulnerable adult who went missing Monday morning.

Joseph Charles Karnik, 23, of St. Cloud was last seen at 7:15 a.m. at Century Bank, located on the 4300 block of 8th Street North.

Karnik is described as a white male, 5-foot-11, 155 pounds, wearing a hooded sweatshirt under a dark colored, light weight jacket, dark blue jeans, silver with a blue and lime green trim Nike tennis shoes and a dark colored winter hat.

Police say he’s presumed to be on foot with no access to a motor vehicle. He is said to like electronics, so he could be at a store in the city.

Karnik resides at a group home and is vulnerable adult due to mental instability. He’s been assaultive towards police in the past, but there is no current information that he is a danger to the public.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911, but police urge the public not to attempt contact with him.
