Oregon Cops: MN Duo Caught With 71 Pounds Of Marijuana

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two Minnesotans were arrested after police caught the duo concealing 71 pounds of marijuana in their truck while driving through Oregon earlier this month, according to authorities.

Oregon State Police said Dustin John Calgaro, 27, and Heather Diane Kerg, 22, both of Biwabik, Minn., were pulled over at 2:35 p.m. on April 6 on Highway 97 near Klamath Falls, Ore., for several traffic violations.

Police said they then found several large duffel bags in the back of the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, holding an estimated value of $175,000 worth of marijuana.

The two were then arrested for unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance, and conspiracy to commit unlawful delivery of marijuana.
