Bus Crashes Into Mpls Parking Lot, Damages 7 Cars
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Metro Transit bus lost control and crashed into multiple parked cars on Tuesday afternoon near 10th Street and Second Avenue South in Minneapolis.
The driver of the Maple Grove Transit bus potentially had a medical situation that caused that accident, said John Siqveland with Metro Transit. The bus went onto the sidewalk, into a fence and onto a surface parking lot, striking and damaging seven cars, Siqveland said.
Siqveland said no passengers were on board and added that the driver was conscious and breathing when taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.
There appears to be no disruption to traffic, Siqveland said.
