$600M Powerball Jackpot Topples Records
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Powerball jackpot for Saturday's drawing has jumped to $600 million, according to the multi-state lottery's website, a new record for the Powerball franchise.
The top prize now has an estimated cash value of $376 million.
The jackpot has been growing after none of the tickets sold matched all the winning numbers in Wednesday night's $360 million drawing. The numbers drawn on Wednesday night were 2, 11, 26, 34 and 41, with a Powerball of 32.
The new jackpot now ranks as the largest in Powerball history and the second biggest lottery jackpot overall.
