Alex's Lemonade Stand Kicks Off Sunday At MOA
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Shoppers at Mall of American can pick up a sweet treat Sunday while taking in a little shopping.
There will be a giant lemonade stand set up in the rotunda from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
It's from the group "Alex's Lemonade Stand."
They hope to raise a quarter-million dollars.
Money raised goes towards finding a cure to childhood cancer.
The stand was started by a little girl named Alexandra.
She lost her battle to cancer in 2004 but her legacy is carried on nationwide.
