Twins Option Colabello To Triple-A Rochester
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Twins optioned infielder Chris Colabello to Triple-A Rochester following Sunday' 10-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners at Target Field.
In two stints with the Twins this season, Colabello appeared in six games, hitting .133 (2-for-15). He was recalled May 30 when infielder Trevor Plouffe (calf) was placed on the 15-day disabled list.
The Twins will make a corresponding move on Tuesday, when they start a four-game series at Kansas City.
