Four Habits Of The Healthiest People
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- There's a new study out there this morning outlining the four healthiest habits you can have.
Researchers at Johns Hopkins said the healthiest people exercise regularly, eat a Mediterranean-style diet, maintain a normal weight and don't smoke. This large study found people who adopt those lifestyle behaviors are less likely to develop heart disease and have an 80 percent lower chance of dying from any disease.
The next time you aren't sure how many calories are in your meal: Google it. The search engine is rolling out a program that highlights nutritional information for more than 1,000 foods. You'll get calories, fat grams and protein.
Google officials said most of their nutritional information will come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and will not rely on user-generated content.
The new search will be available starting next month.
