MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said late Monday they recovered the body of a missing college student from Northfield.

David Rodgers hadn’t been seen since April, when the UW-Eau Claire student apparently fell off a pedestrian bridge in Eau Claire and went into a river. Authorities said his body was recovered late Monday from the Chippewa River.

Rodgers, 20, was a sophomore at UW-Eau Claire student mathematics and education. He graduated from Northfield High School in 2011.
