Minn. Man Breaks Skydiving Record To Fight Disease
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota man proved Wednesday that life-changing injuries can't stop him from reaching his goals.
Kevin Burkart made more than 100 jumps alone in Baldwin, Wis. The event raised money for Parkinson's Disease research.
Burkart began the skydiving fundraisers back in 2008 when his father was diagnosed with the condition.
The events nearly came to an end after Burkart lost the use of his left arm in a snowmobile accident last year.
