MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said a man suspected in a string of burglaries in southern Minnesota was arrested last week after being spotted at Mystic Lake Casino.
Cody Spencer Linquist, 30 of Rochester, was taken into custody on his birthday last week in connection with a burglary string in Dodge County. The following day, police executed a search warrant on his vehicle and found evidence linking Lindquist to recent burglaries in Hayfield.
Authorities also executed a search warrant on a storage shed in Shakopee, where they found more evidence linking him to burglaries.
Lindquist has been charged with fifth-degree controlled substance and is currently in the Scott County Jail on those charges. He also has pending charges of burglary, theft, possession of stolen property in Dodge County and misdemeanor charges in Wabasha County, Lake City, Scott County, Shakopee and Prior Lake.
