ST. PETER, Minn. (WCCO) – Police say two people were found dead Monday at a home across the street from both the Nicollet County Courthouse and Sheriff’s office in St. Peter.

Police Chief Matt Peters tells KEYC-TV that the victims, who were found in a home on the 600 block of South Front Street at 5:45 p.m., suffered gunshot wounds.

Peters also says that the public is not in danger and no other suspects are being pursued.

A search warrant for the home is pending, but is expected by late Monday evening.
