Woman, 49, Killed In Jordan Motorcycle Accident

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 49-year-old Glencoe woman is dead after an SUV turned in front of her motorcycle Thursday morning, according to the Jordan Police Department.

Police say the woman was traveling southbound on Quaker Avenue when an SUV, driving by a 35-year-old Shakopee man, turned in front of her to go west on 190th street.

The woman was thrown a short distance after the motorcycle struck the right front side of the SUV. The Jordan Fire Department had to extinguish the motorcycle, which started on fire after the collision.

The woman was airlifted to HCMC where she later died.

The other driver was not injured.
