MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It’s mid-July, but it’s already time to start thinking about the football season.

If you’re looking to go to a Minnesota Vikings game this year and don’t have season tickets, single-game tickets went on sale 9 a.m. Tuesday. It’s the final season in the Metrodome for the Vikings, who will spend two seasons playing home games at TCF Bank Stadium before moving into their new stadium.

Single-game tickets are available at the Vikings ticket office at the Metrodome. At 10 a.m., they were available for purchase online through Ticketmaster and at Walmart.

The Vikings home opener Sept. 22 against the Cleveland Browns. They open the regular season with a pair of road games against NFC North Division rivals, Sept. 8 at the Detroit Lions and Sept. 15 at the Chicago Bears. The last game the Vikings will play in the Metrodome will be against the Detroit Lions, scheduled for noon on Dec. 29.

The Vikings start training camp in Mankato on Friday, July 26.
