MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said Tuesday they’ve identified the woman who was shot in her car last Saturday morning and later died from her injuries.

Police said that just after 2 a.m. last Saturday, two women were driving at the corner of Washington Avenue North and 26th Avenue North when shots were fired from a car that pulled up next to them. One woman was “gravely injured” and another woman suffered a serious injury, according to police.

Both women were taken to HCMC, where the woman who was gravely injured later passed away.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Arnong Rajvong of Minneapolis. The medical examiner said she died in the hospital from a gunshot wound to the head and the manner of death is a homicide. Police are still looking for suspects in the incident.
