MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – So as not to waste the hours you’ve put into your garden, WCCO asked Susie Bachman for the best ways to keep the bugs away.

Aphids can suck the green part out of the plant, so Captain Jacks’ Deadbug is a great organic all-purpose insecticide. Bonide Eight isn’t organic, is another a great all-purpose insecticide.

Remember if you plan to consume the plant, use something organic.

As for those slugs, get some Sluggo and that’ll take care of it.
