ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Garrison Keillor just doesn’t want to get off the stage.
Keillor says he’s creating a new variety show this fall. “The Rhubarb Show” will follow broadcasts of Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” at the Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul.
Unlike “A Prairie Home Companion,” ”The Rhubarb Show” won’t be broadcast. But Keillor will host the new show, which will feature some guests from the “Prairie Home” broadcast.
“The Rhubarb Show” will premiere on Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. Two other shows are planned, on Sept. 28 and Oct. 5.
Tickets go on sale at noon Thursday at Ticketmaster outlets and online, or in person at the Fitzgerald box office. Prices range from $5 to $40, plus a handling fee.
