Bomb Threats Called To Multiple Metro Area Walgreens

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police say that the bomb threat that temporarily closed Nicollet Mall Monday afternoon was a prank call.

The bomb threat was called to the Walgreens on the 800 block of Nicollet Mall.

There was also another bomb threat called to the Walgreens in southeast Minneapolis, near the intersection of Hiawatha Avenue and 46th Street South.

Police in Apple Valley also said they responded to a bomb threat at the Walgreens on the 15200 block of Cedar Avenue at about 1 p.m.

No explosive devices were found in any of these cases.
