MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota announced Wednesday it will host a rally on Saturday for Gophers football coach Jerry Kill before Minnesota hosts San Jose State at TCF Bank Stadium.

Officials with the Epilepsy Foundation said the rally will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the “Victory Walk” on Oak Street between TCF Bank Stadium and Mariucci Arena. Kill is expected to be back on the sidelines Saturday after missing the second half of last week’s win over Western Illinois after suffering a seizure.

It was the third seizure Kill has suffered while on the field coaching the Gophers. He was taken to the hospital and eventually released late Saturday afternoon. Everyone who attends Saturday’s rally will receive a “Jerrysota” t-shirt.
