3-Month-Old Who Drowned In Sauk Rapids ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Sauk Rapids said Wednesday they're investigating the death of a 3-month old child over the weekend.

Authorities responded to a medical situation at a residential health facility on the 1400 block of 10th Avenue NE in Sauk Rapids at about 7:27 a.m. Sunday.

When authorities arrived, staff at the facility was performing CPR on a 3-month-old child, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identfied as Fallyn Jasper Ottenhausen.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office said it appears the infant died as a result of an accidental drowning.

Authorities said they are still investigating details of the incident.
