COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) – A woman was struck twice during a shooting in Columbia Heights, Minn. early Monday morning.

Police say the shooting happened on the 1300 block of Circle Terrace Northeast at about 2 a.m.

Officers say a couple was sitting in a car when two men walked up to the car and began firing into it.

The man inside the car was not struck, but the 44-year-old woman inside was struck twice. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Her injuries were not deemed life-threatening.

Police say the two men fled on foot, and a white car was seen speeding out of the area after the shooting.
