MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating after two people were found dead in a Rosemount home early Tuesday night.

Rosemount Police responded to a residence on the 2900 block of 146th Street West at about 5:48 p.m. on a request to check on the welfare of a couple inside the home. When officers arrived, they found two people dead inside.

Police said it’s an active investigation by Rosemount Police, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Hennepin County Medical Center. Authorities said they are not actively seeking suspects and there is no risk to the community.
