MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — This morning we honor another excellent educator who has gone above and beyond to make a difference in student’s lives.

Cindy Britain is a teacher at the Ronald McDonald House who has been inspiring kids in the classroom for more than 30 years. She actually started the school more than 10 years ago, and her students say she has a loving and compassionate teaching style.

She said she loves her job and working with the kids. Gretchen Ambrosier with the Ronald McDonald House said Britain is the main reason a lot of kids go there and stay there. Britain is in her 34th year of teaching.

If you know someone you think should be next week’s Excellent Educator, we want to know. You can nominate someone either on our Facebook page or email us at morning@wcco.com. Just tell us who it is and why they deserve the recognition.
