MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in St. Paul are asking the public’s help in finding out how a man’s body ended up in an alley Friday morning on the city’s west side.

The St. Paul Police Department says it has preliminary information on the victim’s identity, but it is currently working with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office to confirm the man’s name.

He was found, police say, after officers were called at 7 a.m. to the 600 block of Van Buren Avenue.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help in figuring out what happened Friday morning that led to the suspicious death.

If you have any information, call police at 651-266-5650.
