Health Exchange Expands Offerings In SE Minn.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — People in southeast Minnesota who hope to use the state's new insurance exchange to get coverage will soon have more coverage options.
State officials say residents of Olmsted and Dodge counties will get seven additional health options through MNsure, the state exchange.
The state commerce and health departments say they've been working for several weeks to improve choices in that part of the state.
The news comes after reports that Mayo Clinic's dominance in that part of the state was making it a tough market for other insurers to enter.
