Rockford Man Dies After Being Ejected From ATV
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 74-year-old Rockford man was killed Monday after being thrown from an ATV west of the Twin Cities, according to the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities responded to the 6400 block of Highway 55 in Rockford at about 5:53 p.m. Monday on a report of an ATV accident. When they arrived, a 2012 Yamaha Rhino 750 had been driven into a large hole, throwing the victim from the ATV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified by authorities as Virgil Wagner. The accident is still under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
