Metrodome Seats Coming Out

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Bolt by bolt, each chair is being removed from the Metrodome.

Tony Manning is the General Manager of Albrecht Signs.

“It’s going pretty good,” he said. “We just started. Getting the bugs out.”

Albretcht will be offering the seats at three different price points.

• Nonprofit rate: $40 per seat
• General seats: $60 per seat
• Specific location: $80 per seat

So far, more than 3,000 seats have been sold to individuals, with more than 900 purchased by nonprofits.

“We are taking them down in one, twos, threes and fours,” he said.

Manning is a Viking Fan himself, and says it is kind of special to work on this project.

“It’s nice to be some of the last people in here, and it’s been a great stadium,” he said.
