Abandoned Minneapolis Home Damaged In Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said a boarded up house in north Minneapolis caught fire overnight and suffered major damage.

Fire crews were called to the 500 block of Knox Avenue North at about 1 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a fire. When authorities arrived, they couldn’t find anyone inside the home but cleared out of the residence after determining the roof was unstable.

Authorities said the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the home suffered extensive damage.
