MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said a $5,000 reward is being offered for any information that leading to an arrest for the hit-and-run that killed two men in Polk County, Wis., over the weekend.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said the two men had an altercation at a home in the Round Lake Native American Community that spilled out onto County Road E, and they were hit and killed instantly by a pickup truck that was just driving by. The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses said the driver and passenger stopped, then drove away.

Authorities updated their description of the truck on Thursday, saying it’s a Ford F-150 pickup from 1997-2003 that is black or dark in color with substantial damage.

Authorities identified the victims Thursday as Ben Juarez and Rick Cobenais. The reward is being offered by the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin.
