Wayzata To Vote On School District Upgrades
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Voters in Wayzata, Minn. are going to the polls Tuesday to deciding if they should expand the high school, build an elementary school and upgrade safety, security and technology districtwide.
According to the Wayzata School District website, a bigger high school is needed because so many people have moved to the Wayzata area.
The district also said another elementary school is needed because of the state-funded all-day kindergarten starting in the fall.
Another question on the ballot would decide if the technology levy should be renewed.
The polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
