GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Former University of North Dakota head football coach Chris Mussman has landed a job as an assistant at St. Cloud State.

The Minnesota school has hired Mussman as co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

UND fired Mussman last November after 14 seasons, the last six as head coach. He compiled an overall record of 31-34 during the school’s transition from the NCAA Division II ranks to Division I. The team finished last season 3-8.

Mussman also coached previously at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
