Mega Millions Tuesday Jackpot Hits $400 Million
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – If you buy a Mega Millions lottery ticket before Tuesday night's drawing, there's a chance you could wake up Wednesday and be $400 million richer.
That's what the latest jackpot is at after there were no big winners in the most recent drawing. If one lucky lottery player matches all the winning numbers, they'll win the third largest Mega Millions jackpot in U.S. history.
It's also the sixth-largest ever offered in the U.S. The cash option after taxes amounts to about $224 million and if you haven't purchased your ticket yet, the drawing is at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
