MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – If you’re looking for a job and want to be a part of the Minnesota Vikings stadium project, Minneapolis is the place to be Thursday, April 3.
Companies that are part of the construction for the new facility are hosting a job fair Thursday afternoon at the Sabathani Community Center in Minneapolis. Mortenson Construction, the primary builder of the new stadium, and other companies connected to the project, will be represented as they’re looking for workers both with and without experience.
The stadium construction project will be extensive as the facility is not slated to open until the fall 2016. The job fair will run from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 3. There are a minimum percentage of jobs that are slated to go to women, minorities and veterans of the armed forces, but those looking for work are encouraged to attend.
